16 corporations to sign the first Diversity Charter in Slovakia
Sixteen major companies and two non-profit organizations, together covering over 22.000 employees, officially bound to the principles of diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination, by signing the first Diversity Charter in Slovakia on May 30th, 2017. Slovakia is the fifteenth country in the EU in which employers have access to a Diversity Charter. This is a very significant milestone that we all are very proud of.
Diversity Charter is a voluntary initiative supported by European Commission and EU Platform of Diversity charters. It is a voluntary initiative for promoting diversity management principles and sharing of good practice across member states. Creation of Diversity Charter in Slovakia was initiated by Diversity Pro in collaboration with member companies of Business Service Centers Forum of the American Chamber of Commerce. Since 2017, Business Leaders Forum took over the role of the administrator of Diversity Charter Slovak Republic.
These 16 corporations and 2 non-profits were the first ones to sign Diversity Charter in Slovakia: AT&T Global Network Services Slovakia, DELL, Heineken Slovensko, Henkel Slovensko, IBM Slovensko, ING Bank, Lenovo (Slovakia), Novartis Slovakia, Philip Morris Slovakia, Pivovary Topvar, PricewaterhouseCoopers Slovensko, Skanska SK, Swiss Re, T-Systems Slovakia , Matador Holding, AmCham Slovakia (Business Service Center Forum), Nadácia Pontis and Diversity Pro.
